5-day Private Academy
Our full-time Private 5-Day Academy offers a dynamic learning environment that combines Montessori principles with classical education and current constructivist methods. Rooted in Montessori principles and the core values of grace and courtesy, we continuously seek innovative practices to ensure our program remains both meaningful and rigorous. Each day, students engage in intentional, purposeful work that equips them with the skills and mindset needed to thrive today and in the future. The program runs Monday through Friday and includes weekly Forest School sessions, Latin lessons, visits to the library, and field trips that enrich hands-on learning experiences.

3-day Homeschool Academy
The Elementary 3-Day Homeschool Academy is designed for children ages 6 to 12 who are primarily educated at home. This program blends the flexibility of homeschooling with the support and community of an academy. Students attend structured lessons, collaborative activities, and social time three days a week—from Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM—while spending the other two days learning at home with their parents. This partnership model allows parents to stay the primary educators, supported by guidance, encouragement, and accountability from our team. Families benefit from strong academic progress and a connected, vibrant school community. Participants also have the option to join weekly Forest School days and monthly field trips to enrich their learning experience.
Subject Areas
Practical Life
At the Elementary level, Practical Life activities focus on helping children develop responsibility and meaningful connections with the world around them. While continued support for self-care and social skills remains, the emphasis shifts toward organizing time effectively and actively participating in their community.
Language Arts
Reading and writing are central to all learning in Montessori Elementary. Through both formal and informal presentations, students share ideas, express curiosity, and communicate effectively. Montessori language materials guide children in mastering grammar, spelling, writing conventions, and the nuances of spoken and written language.
Math and Geometry
Montessori math materials provide tactile and visual tools that deepen children’s understanding of abstract concepts. In Elementary, students revisit familiar materials with new purposes, exploring more complex mathematical operations and functions—including geometry—to build advanced math skills and confidence.
Science and Culture
Rooted in Montessori’s vision of Cosmic Education, our Science and Culture program weaves together geography, history, biology, botany, zoology, geology, and the physical and life sciences. Children are invited to see the interconnectedness of all living things and the unfolding story of the universe, with an emphasis on human development through time and the Fundamental Human Needs. The use of timelines and impressionistic charts helps children visualize big-picture ideas while encouraging a sense of wonder and responsibility within the larger human story.
Each year begins with the Five Great Lessons, presented through a Biblical worldview. These foundational stories jumpstart inquiry, curiosity, and gratitude as children explore creation, life, language, numbers, and civilization.
In addition to our Montessori foundation, we incorporate Biblioplan as a supplemental history resource. Families are encouraged to read the weekly lessons at home and read-aloud living books, helping children arrive at school ready to bring history to life through discussion, storytelling, and hands-on activities. This also informs our book club readings, which are tied to our historical units through rich literature and meaningful connections.
Fine Arts
Through visual art, music, and hymn study, children grow in creativity, focus, and appreciation for beauty and order. They learn essential art techniques while observing and imitating the styles of master artists. In music, we explore hymns and the work of great composers, supporting spiritual and emotional development. These studies are thoughtfully connected to our work in history and character formation.
Latin
Following the roots of classical education, Latin serves as a key to unlocking learning across subjects. It enriches English vocabulary and grammar, sharpens critical thinking, and opens pathways to history, scripture, and classical literature. More than a language, Latin nurtures precision, discipline, and wonder.
Biblical Studies and Character Formation
Inspired by Dr. Montessori’s concept of the “Atrium,” our spiritual environment invites children to grow as young disciples through daily morning gatherings. Children engage with Bible stories, catechism, and parables using Godly Play materials. Emphasizing values and virtues during the sensitive period for moral development, the program includes singing hymns, role play, and invitations for reflection through discussions, art, and journaling throughout the week.
